About
We are a local based volunteer group whose sole purpose is to improve the beauty in and around the river, the enjoyment on the river and preservation and conservation of the river. Our vision is a healthy, vibrant river enjoyed, cared for and respected by all who choose to tap into its natural resources.
Project
We are hoping to build our team, offer quarterly fun paddles with an educational element, and get out in the community to educate paddlers on river safety, etiquette and property owners' rights, and general river usage rules and safety guidelines.

CRG Fun Paddle
We'll be paddling the Blue Trail---Lyerly Dam Launch to Chattoogaville with Shane Kornberg, former manager of the Fish Hatchery in Cohutta and currently an Agriculture and Natural Resources Agent with UGA Extension in Whitfield County.
